• Formed by SM Entertainment in 2008
• Made their debut on May 25, 2008 on SBS's Inkigayo
• Consists of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho and Taemin
• Made their Japanese debut in June 22, 2011
• First award: "Rookie of the Month", di Cyworld Digital Music Awards in 22 Jun 2008.

• Real Name:Kim Jonghyun, known as jonghyun.
• Date of Birth: 8 April 1990, Seoul

• Member of other band project, SM The Balada, under SM Entertainment
• Before debuting, Jonghyun sang a duet with Zhang Liyin
• Jonghyun was one of 20 idols from various South Korean group that recorded the song, "Let's Go", for G-20 Seoul Summit.

• His father, Choi Yun-Gyeom, is a well known South Korea ex soccer coach
• He graduated from Konkuk University affiliated high school on february 10, 2010
• Position: one of the rapper in group along with Key
• In 2008, he was 3rd Youth International Video Festival "the aura" Goodwill Ambassador with Key.
• Other than that, he was ambassador for Konkuk University .
